Ok, is it only me or is anyone else getting seriously nostalgic over the soundtrack of the new show? I mean between the Counting Crows (my favourite band) and the Third Eye Blind, Two Princes etc, it's all so '90s that it's slowly killing me.
Are you enjoying the songs along with the show? Do you think it goes well together? What is your favourite song so far?

When I heard Third Eye Blind on the last episode...I got into my car for the drive back home and dug out my mixed Third Eye Blind CD - made for me years ago - only to remember my car doesn't have a CD player 😭. So that made me all the more nostalgic.
And honestly, with movies and films, sometimes I don't even notice the soundtrack. But the producers of this show have done a great job bringing back some 90s goodies. I'm honestly curious if we like the song choices so much because we grew up with those songs? 😂 Would the younger audiences tuning in feeling differently? 😉

I’ve had Third Eye Blind stuck in my head all week, not gonna lie.
And Carina said something on twitter about the soundtrack really being meant to take the audience back to their school years, so I think maybe they’re aiming for a slightly older audience than the CW average. Or trying to satisfy both.

Honestly, any time Third Eye Blind plays, I am invested. <3 As should be any audience regardless of their age!

The music was always a really important part of OG for me, and I'm finding the same with RNM. The song at the end of the pilot is so perfect, When the Truth Hunts You Down. Love.
