I have many, many feels about this ep. What a roller-coaster!
The secondary title should be, Pointed Remarks. Bc ouch. There were sooooo many straight to the heart zingers, and they were all stellar examples of how nobody can hurt you like the people who love you.

I was going to quote Jules but I'll skip the wall o text and just say, What she said *g*.
Especially on Jesse Manes. That man scares me. I'm sure the actor is lovely but damn he's a scary bustard in character!

Shit, girls, I don't even know where to start! I have watched this a couple of times now and I am still so unsure of what I want to write. Some great comedic moments there, but also a lot of heartache. So let's do it step by step. 1. Liz trying to go all "uninvolved" just made me laugh - because regardless of whether she thinks he killed her or not, there's no impersonality in investigating your sister's death. 2. Can I get a better glimpse of that tattoo on Max's side, please? 3. I think I'm a little in love with Kyle - him defending Alex to Jesse Manes? Priceless. I am loving Kyle. He's reminding me a smidge of OG Kyle, and I'm digging it. Jesse Manes has got to go, though. ESPECIALLY after the way he spoke to Alex. No. No. Not MY Alex! 4. Shit, Max's just a little ball of uncontrolled power trying to hold itself together with gum, no? You called it! And it pangs my wittle heart to see him this out of controll. It's that tornado. 7. Reason's why the boy's morning bed scene is the best thing since sliced bread: a. the familiarity and the fact that we know that are few days have elapsed presupposes that they have been hooking up since b. Michael's face is so open and happy when he says "you stayed", and then he immediately starts to touch Alex, as if trying to prove to himself he's tangible - not a mirage. Beautiful and heartbreaking c. Then that intake of breath when Alex touches him and the way he's so disarmed - you can see plain in his face he'll do anything for that man. He'll give him anything he asks. This. Scene. Was. Everything. The tenderness of expressions. The happiness in their eyes...and then poof. RUINED. Not that i'm blaming Alex, but damn boy. I get it. You scared...but Michael was legit hurt, and I just need them to be 100% happy 100% of the time, and always looking at each other the way they did. IN THIS SCENE. 9. Comedy genius moment #2: "Please say sexually." Followed by Isabel's look of pure disgust. That stuff had me laughing for a full minute. I actually paused the recording. This was so funny. Especially since Michael did not mean it in jest at all. He was so serious, and was so pissed off when he said it that it made it all the more hysterical to me. That Michael is a regular hoot. 11. I still love Cam. Just putting it out there. Even is she is dating Max. He's so carefree around her, I think she's good for him. Okay, almost 100% need you to never say this again. Just on principle. Not saying you're wrong. Not saying you're right. Just saying you can't SAY that stuff here. 17. Fuck you, Jesse Manes. Fuck you and the high horse you rode in. This needs to be tattooed on Jesse Manes' head because Jesus. What a tool! 18. The mind-warping is so different it threw me for a loop there. Seriously, right? And she didn't look like she was having trouble poo-ing. Like Tess. 26. The scene with Max and Liz's confrontation was the first time I felt some real chemistry between those two. See how easy it is to get answers when you actually ask the questions, Liz? Max had all of my heart here. I really melted for him. And when he said he wanted to be a writer? *sigh* This was a good scene. Too short-lived though. Need. More. 27. I feel like a 13-year-old boy. My mind went straight to the gutter when Michael said: "You wanna go for a ride?" (in my disco stick) Same, gurl. SAME.

There were sooooo many straight to the heart zingers, and they were all stellar examples of how nobody can hurt you like the people who love you. Straight to the heart zingers is right! I felt especially gutted by Michael being hurt because...we just didn't get to see that side of him on OG Roswell. But this vulnerable side that literally only opens up when he's around Alex, I just adore it. It's like a bittersweet moment because while I love seeing that part of him, we only get it when Alex has stomped on his heart a little. So, do I want that to keep happening - just so I can see it? I mean...no? But maybe? I mean unless he can be that adorable all the time? I keep seeing him in the second episode. "I never look away. Not really." UUUUGH. Max's display this episode - only slightly over-shadowed by Michael's - what pretty painful too. We saw vulnerable Max in OG Roswell, but that was second level. Compacted by the fact there's so much we don't know about his involvement with Rosa? That was a pretty impressive spiral. I'm into it.

What if... Ophiuchus = Isobel??? Honestly, this would be amazing!! I think that idea flittered through my head when Isobel saw Rosa during the failed mind-warp, but brushed it aside too quickly. That would be pretty cool...
